The ukulele

I have had an opportunity to play the ukulele at music class at school. The people who teach my classmates and I are people who raised money for the local schools to have ukuleles. We only get 6 weeks with the ukuleles. I personally like playing the ukuleles. When they teach us the ukulele, they teach us each note one by one. The ukulele is a fun instrument that you can sing with. (I like singing so I like the ukulele) I love playing the ukulele.  ----Loren

 

It was a sad day in our house.  Loren had to turn in her ukulele at school today.  She really enjoyed playing it and will really miss it.  Ever since she got home, she has been on Amazon looking for a ukulele to purchase.  She has plenty of money she has saved and is trying to decide whether she wants to buy one or not.  I have to admit that we have really enjoyed having it in our home.  The music is beautiful and not squeaky like when they learned the recorders at school.  I hope she has a desire to continue with it.
