I love the Daddy Daughter Dance tradition at Lincoln Crossing Elementary. Our PTC works tirelessly to put on such a special evening for our daughters and their Dads and it is something my girls look forward to each and every year. It's even more special since it happens to be dab smack in the middle of tax season and any quality time with Dad is even more special this time of year. This year, the girls got to vote on the theme adn Candy Land was chosen. Both of the girls found beautiful dresses that suited their very different personalities. I love what they chose and the most important thing is that they felt beautiful, like princesses in their dresses.
The girls decided to do something different this year and go to dinner with a few friends at Costa Vida. Loren wanted to invite Tessa and her Dad and Morgan wanted to have Hannah and her Dad join as well. It worked out to be a perfect evening. I love that each of them got to spend dinner and time at the dance with their besties. Chris is always so gracious and just goes with the flow, even when he has never met some of the dads. We know Bruce, Hannah's Dad, but Chris nor I had never met Tessas's dad, Dale. Chris said they had a wonderful dinner and then went to the dance. I seriously loved getting texts from various dads and moms with pictures of our girls having so much fun! After the dance, the girls all went for ice cream at Baskin Robbins. A good time was had by all! So grateful my girls have such an amazing Dad. He brought them flowers and made them feel like the princesses they are. We love you, Loren and Morgan!
