Easter 2016 was a little less traditional. It started off with Easter baskets and beignets, followed by church, an Easter egg hunt and bacon wrapped filet mignon for dinner. We typically would not have steak on a Sunday night during tax season because Uncle Dee is not a fan. However, Uncle Dee had taken a quick trip down to Fresno over that weekend, so the kids begged us to skip the traditional ham and serve bacon wrapped filets for dinner. Sounded like a good plan to me, so that is exactly what we did. It was a wonderful day!
